WHO IS @MANDYEATSNY
Hi! I’m Amanda, a content creator behind “mandyeatsny,” a brand I built over 5 years ago. For the past 5 years, I’ve taught myself video production and editing, copywriting, trend forecasting, and more. Through traveling and working with over 250 restaurants and brands across the USA. My main niche is food, which I absolutely love. I find it is something that connects all people of different backgrounds.

Q: Do you consider various demographics in the process of creating content?
A: Absolutely! As a food blogger, I love the fact that food serves as a universal connector among people. It transcends barriers and brings everyone together. What truly excites me about my journey with Mandyeatsny over the past 5+ years is the diverse community it has cultivated. From various age groups to different corners of the globe, my followers span across a spectrum of demographics. This diversity has not only enriched my experience but has also allowed me to forge meaningful connections with a wide array of individuals.
Q: What do you project will be the next generation's focus for digital marketing?
A: The next generation's focus for digital marketing will absolutely be authenticity. Today's audiences are increasingly discerning, seeking genuine connections rather than feeling targeted by relentless sales pitches. They yearn for realness: real people, real stories, and real experiences that resonate on a personal level. Brands that embrace this shift towards authenticity will not only captivate their audience. They will also forge deeper, more meaningful connections with their consumers.

Q: Are you integrating any technology to help increase the effectiveness of your content?
A: Right now, I use CapCut for editing my video content, and Adobe Lightroom for editing my photography.
Q: What are your guardrails for maintaining authenticity and trust with your audience when developing a successful partnership with brands?
A: I exclusively work with brands that align with my personal brand, as well as what I understand my followers to be interested in. As a content creator who focuses primarily on food, nearly all of my brand partnerships are centered around cooking or dining. This reflects my passion for all things food-related. On occasions when I do partner with a non-food related brand, it is usually related to the NYC lifestyle, a part of my daily life that interests my audience. This selective approach ensures that every partnership is authentic, relevant, and aligned with the unique tastes and expectations of my audience.

Q: What would you recommend to a brand regarding building a great working relationship with you? How can they be the best partner?
A: I really value when brands have clear objectives for a campaign, but give me the freedom to shape the content. After all, I know my audience best, and they can immediately spot anything that doesn’t seem genuine. Sometimes, brands hand over a lengthy list of required messages for a video, which can make it challenging to avoid a salesy tone.
My top advice for brands looking to collaborate with influencers, including myself, is to trust our creative instincts. Doing so not only boosts engagement and retention but also enhances the ROI for them. Trust in our creativity is key to achieving the best results.
